Your tasks and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:IT Support and Technical Expertise
  • Ensure a SaaS (Software as a service) and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) based enterprise IT-Application availability 24/7 as well as the application performance
  • Provide 2nd level support within the Incident Management process (e.g. trouble shooting)
  • Provide 3rd level support within the Problem Management process (e.g. root cause analysis)
  • Contribute to the application Change Management Process
  • Take care on the Access Management process
  • Contribute to the Knowledge, Release and Configuration Management processes
  • Perform the Escalation Management process
  • Ensure and control disaster recovery, backup and restore scenarios
  • Configure and install enterprise IT applications and/or its components
  • Coordinate special technical requests with internal and external IT service providers
  • Contribute to implementation of IT application architecture (technology, interfaces, landscape)
Quality/Compliance Management
  • Contribute to accurate and up-to-date quality and end-user documentation
  • As part of the quality management process, prepare and assist in application tests
  • Assist during internal and external audits
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Engineering and/or Business Management
  • 2-5 years of experience in operational IT Support, especially in Incident and Problem Management
  • Hands-on experience with web-based and cloud applications
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on multicultural sensitivity
  • Critical thinking and analysis skills with respect to varying customer and business processes and requirements as they relate to a larger picture
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Structured, proactive, and self-directed work style
  • Fluent in English
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • German language skills would be a plus and highly appreciated
  • Experience in Healthcare industry business processes, esp. in manufacturing
  • Experience in the manufacturing area
  • Availability for international business travel including Germany, USA and Asia
