- Payables and accounting in SAP accounting of incoming invoices, expense claims, advances, bank movements.
- G/L accounting and G/L account maintenance VAT and consumption tax related entries. G/L entries, corrective entries processing, car logbooks processing.
- Procurement – Purchase order creation in SAP, new vendor creation, assets creation. Monitoring and updating of open purchase orders. Recoding of deliveries in SAP.
- Payroll processing – Payroll processing entries in SAP HR and SAP FI modules. Assists in non staff payroll processing.
- Bank transfers – creating bank transfer file based on payable report, provides first signature in bank.
- Issuing of invoices and proforma invoices to customers.
- Monthly closure reporting - bank reconciliation, closure checklist reviews.
- Preparation of requests for payment to mainly EC funded projects and prepares supporting documentation from SAP entries related to claimed expenses.
- Monthly spending analysis preparation for project teams and management.
- Financial documents management and archiving - maintaining filling system of all accounting documents.
- Preparation of overviews and reports and documents for donor reviews and audits.
- Assisting in budget preparation and budget revisions.
- Setting up project structure.
- Preparation of project proposals.
- Procurement of services and goods in line with internal rules and donor reporting requirements.
- Communication with suppliers, market research and supplier contracts preparation.

- University education - Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Business Administration;
- Two years of experience in accounting;
- Experience in project administration and financial reporting is an advantage;
- Excellent knowledge of general accounting rules and principles;
- Excellent monitoring, evaluation, and reporting skills;
- Experience with management of the EU project expenditures and preparation the project budget is an advantage;
- Language skills: Slovak - native speaker and English - upper intermediate;
- Computer skills: Microsoft Excel - advanced;
- Strong planning skills and strong in keeping deadlines;
- Ability to work independently and also in a team;
- Ability to take initiative and act with autonomy; personal commitment, creative thinking and drive for results;
- Driving licence B.
