Lead Engineer

• Lead the cross squad delivery of complex technical and business projects, technical roadmap and architecture.
• Make and document key architectural and implementation decisions.
• Ensure the squad’s solutions are robust, scalable, and in line with enterprise architecture.

• Own the plan of full delivery lifecycle from technical planning through implementation to release between multiple teams.
• Break down complex requirements into deliverable, high-quality technical work.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure technical feasibility and prioritization.

• Mentor team members to raise engineering capabilities and autonomy.
• Conduct and support code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
• Foster a high-performing culture of ownership, learning, and improvement.

• Ensure observability, incident readiness, and non-functional requirements are met.
• Promote DevSecOps practices, automation, and operational efficiency.

• Timely and reliable delivery of roadmap-aligned features and technical milestones.
• Adoption and execution of architectural guidelines in squad deliverables.
• Improved technical competency and ownership within the team.
• High maintainability, performance, and security of systems.
• Positive collaboration feedback from Product Owners and other teams.

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with proven technical leadership.
• Deep understanding of system architecture, API design, and cloud infrastructure.
• Track record of delivering complex projects in agile environments.
• Skilled in balancing long-term architectural goals with short-term delivery needs.
• Strong coaching, collaboration, and communication abilities.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and aligning cross-functional priorities.
• Good command of English.
