We are looking for two highly motivated and detail-oriented interns to support our team in conducting research for an upcoming GLOBSEC study. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in research, data collection, and policy analysis on critical global issues.Study Focus Areas:
- Effects of the demographic crisis on democracy
- Potential for enhancing the roles of women in defense and resilience sectors
- Conduct background research and data collection (desk research)
- Summarize literature reviews and draft light analysis
- Support interviews and consultations ('field work')
- Assist with analysis and drafting of key study findings
- Perform occasional coordination and administrative tasks
- Master's student in a relevant field (e.g., political science, international relations, economics, sociology, or related disciplines)
- Research and analytical skills
- Experience with data collection and working with Excel (basic formulas)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Coordination and organisational abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting

- Assist with planning and managing logistics for cyber-related events, including preparing invitations, tracking RSVPs, and coordinating with participants
- Handle post-event activities like compiling attendee feedback, preparing event summaries
- Ensure smooth execution of events by liaising with team members and internal coordination
- Develop and maintain a contact database of stakeholders in cyber-security, including policymakers, industry representatives, and academic experts
- Assist in reaching out to stakeholders and support outreach efforts by drafting emails, creating informational materials, and scheduling meetings
- Provide administrative support for cyber program activities, including managing schedules, taking detailed meeting notes etc
- Maintain organised documentation of ongoing projects, including timelines, deliverables, and communications
- Update internal knowledge repositories or databases to ensure institutional knowledge is preserved
- Contribute to discussions, workshops, and meetings within the cyber program
- Assist in preparing reports, summaries, or presentations related to ongoing activities
