Our goal is to proactively find new ways to improve and continuously transform into the type of company providing innovative information and communication technology services.Job DescriptionPurposeSenior Application Developer responsible for high quality end to end service operation based on application level.Project descriptionSoftware Engineer (Agile) for the internal Telekom application IPLS-ROT (International Production Line Service – Roll Out Tool).
The role focuses on the continuous development and enhancement of an existing, highly integrated OSS system used for technical provisioning of VPN customer connections in an international telecom environment.IPLS-ROT translates commercial orders from BSS systems into technical components and workflows, orchestrates provisioning activities across multiple downstream systems, manages resources and inventories, and processes order feedback. The application operates within a complex system landscape with numerous interfaces and dependencies.WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Continuous development and enhancement of the IPLS-ROT application
  • Implementation of changes across multiple small but diverse functional topics
  • Backend development within an existing system architecture
  • Solution design at component and feature level
  • Technical consulting and advisory support for business stakeholders
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams in an agile environment
  • Contribution to documentation and system understanding
Minimum Requirements
  • Strong software engineering experience in complex enterprise systems
  • Hands-on development experience with:
  • Java
  • Perl
  • PHP
  • SQL
  • Apache Tomcat
  • Experience working in agile development environments
  • Solid understanding of OSS/BSS-integrated system landscapes
  • Ability to analyze, design, and implement solutions within existing architectures
  • German language skills (required)
Nice to Have
  • Experience in telecom or network-related systems (OSS, provisioning, workflows)
  • Exposure to project management methods
  • Business-facing experience or consulting mindset
  • Familiarity with systems involving:
  • High number of interfaces
  • Workflow-driven processes
  • Inventory and resource management
QualificationsYOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:
  • have Secondary education
  • have IT experience -5 years
  • have knowledge of HW/SW overview - Expert
  • have Core platform knowledge - Intermediate
  • have knowledge of Financial literacy in respective business area
  • are communicative, team player and have analytical thinking, presentation, training and mentoring and negotiation skills
  • have experiences with Project management
  • speak English – Upper intermediate (B2)
  • speak German advantage – Upper intermediate (B2)
  • have Technical overview in OS, Network, Storage, Back up, Databases, Middleware, Scripting
  • have ITIL knowledge
Possible specialization
  • Participation on on-call duties , independent solving and troubleshooting of incidents and errors within defined expertise .
