Our goal is to proactively find new ways to improve and continuously transform into the type of company providing innovative information and communication technology services.Job DescriptionWe are looking system architect focused on RESTful API Design, OpenAPI Specification (OAS3), TMF Open API/ODA.The HUB DAS (DOM (EOS) and API Decoupling Layer) is responsible for the development of various services in the Magenta Business environment in the Unassisted Sales Channel, Assisted Sales Channel and Magenta Business Collaboration. Specifically, the development in the API environment focuses on the south side (unassisted sales, assisted sales channel) with the underlying production lines, such as SeCe-IT and CRM-T. In the fixed network environment, we are currently working intensively on a changeover from the old CRM-T “LOM” (Local Order Management) gateway to M-APIs (Magenta APIs), which are provided to us by B2C. The individual activities have to be analyzed and structured for development. In addition to coordination with the B2C side, we also need to develop B2B specifics on our side. In the end, a functioning overall solution must be put together.WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Design, develop, test, implement and support ICT components and applications in order to deliver quality standard product portfolio.
Build and develop concepts, processes and methods for automation, optimization and standardization to satisfy efficiency and automation requirements.
Provide advice or information at request or at own initiative to all relevant employees or customers regarding technical aspects of products.
Provide project deliverables in order to fulfil the project scope.
Consult and implement new innovative technologies to satisfy innovation strategy.
Provide overall solutions and principles in planning, developing and implementing new products to satisfy business requirements.
Design, develop, and implement architecture of services based on platform requirements.
Mentor and train co-workers to spread knowledge level and develop their skills.
Act as key technical lead and solve and coordinate activities across related technologies/outside own team.
Provide consulting services to project teams on areas of expertise.
Research and development in assigned technology, determine business requirements, propose changes and develop implementation plans.
QualificationsYOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:
Have experience in RESTful API design
Are proficient in OpenAPI Specification (OAS3)
Understand TMF Open API/ODA and MEF standards
Have hands-on experience with GitLab and Magenta CI/CD pipelines
Are familiar with UML, PlantUML, and MKDocs for documentation and modeling
Apply Domain Driven Design principles effectively
Possess basic knowledge of containerization technologies
Contribute to software development aimed at automation and tooling
Have expertise in API management
Understand Telekom business models and processes
Can quickly grasp new domains and translate them into API schemas
Effectively uncover and communicate business requirements across diverse technical project teams
Support the business in mapping concrete requirements to abstract concepts
Develop generalized solutions that accommodate current and future needs
Clearly document, present, and explain API specifications, patterns, and best practices
Prioritize and balance tasks across multiple projects on a daily basis
Demonstrate competency in architecture methods, API strategy, and Agile delivery
Are fluent in both English and German at a business level
Exhibit a hands-on mentality and proactive work approach
