Since its beginning in Košice, the company has established itself on the local market of IT companies, we participate in job fairs, we have established cooperation with many schools and organize a lot of activities for our employees.As Senior Network Engineer you will be responsible for the operation, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise network and security infrastructures across both company and customer environments. This role supports SD WAN, MPLS routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, proxy platforms, and related technologies deployed in these environments. The position includes provisioning, troubleshooting, migrations, documentation, and vendor coordination. The engineer contributes to ITIL processes, RCA activities, and assists in strengthening standards, architecture designs, and technology roadmaps. Now you have the chance!WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING AS NETWORK ENGINEER?You will manage and troubleshoot network hardware and appliances including SD WAN devices, MPLS routers, firewalls, VPN concentrators, and related components.You will administer network security systems such as firewalls, site to site and client VPNs, IDS/IPS, and reverse proxy gateways.You will participate in daily communication with customers and internal stakeholders to support ongoing operational requirements.You will perform provisioning and onboarding of network and security appliances.You will execute software and firmware upgrades, including patching and updates following proper change management procedures.You will manage appliance licensing and ensure timely installation and renewal.You will monitor network and security vulnerabilities and support remediation efforts.You will proactively monitor network infrastructure using enterprise monitoring tools and respond to performance or availability issues.You will handle incidents and service requests within defined SLAs, collaborating with internal teams, vendors, ISPs, and customers.You will troubleshoot issues across SD WAN, VPNs, firewalls, vendor routers, and LAN/WAN infrastructure.You will analyze network and security incidents and maintain accurate records and reports.You will open and manage vendor support cases (TAC) for hardware and software issues.You will lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex network incidents across routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, and perimeter security layers.You will perform advanced configuration, optimization, and tuning of routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, controllers, and virtual network appliances.You will prepare, plan, and manage network and security infrastructure migrations.You will support the design and testing of network and security architectures.You will provide consulting input to technical and non-technical teams and stakeholders.You will contribute to network architecture design, standards development, and long term technology roadmaps.You will recommend improvements for performance, availability, security, and overall optimization.You will create and update documentation including topology diagrams, configuration records, installation guides, and operational procedures.You will deliver and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for incidents.You will mentor colleagues, provide internal training, and support knowledge sharing.You will support network audits.WHAT EXPERIENCE / SKILLS DO YOU NEED?You have 6+ years of experience in network and/or network security engineering.You have strong expertise in firewall technologies Check Point or Palo Alto. * You have good knowledge of SD WAN platform - Cisco or other enterprise vendor.
You have strong knowledge of IPsec VPNs.
You have hands-on experience supporting enterprise network environments, including hardware installation, provisioning, and troubleshooting.You have experience working in international, customer-facing environments.You have CCNP certification or equivalent industry standard.WILL YOU FIT IN?You have strong written and verbal communication skills (English B2+), with the ability to engage directly with customers and project managers.You have high level of professionalism, reliability, and customer orientation.You have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.You have ability to manage priorities, multitask, and follow structured processes.You have team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed work environment.GET TO KNOW OUR TEAM AND HOW WE WORKIn our team, every day is different.
