- Manage the Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) process. Guide the project participants through the required workflow steps until completion.
- Participate with IT project and development teams to assure the use of information technology aligns with ‘Privacy by Design’ and ‘Privacy by Default’ principles from the first stages of development and for any modifications and ensure that the final deliverables meet regulatory compliance needs.
- Analyze requirements and specifications for projects and software to identify and address privacy vulnerabilities and to prevent potential privacy risks.
- Participate in the processing of Data Subject Rights Requests, Delegation of Access Requests, or Data Subject Access Requests. Handle the IT processes related to requests.
- Participate and contribute in third-party / vendor security and privacy risk assessments.
- Collaborate with the global Privacy organization on regular basis as member of the global Privacy Office.
- Develop and maintain repositories for structured collection of evidence of effective operation of privacy management activities, to ensure demonstrable compliance with applicable privacy legislations.
- Maintain internal privacy sites and sources up to date with internal and external developments.
- Support privacy management tool administration and support (e.g. OneTrust)
- Develop and implement solutions to ensure Adient’s privacy program, standards and policies are correctly implemented within business processes and deliverables.
- Interacting with internal program managers, development teams, legal, compliance and governance teams.
- Identify areas of improvement in local practices related to managing data privacy.
- Perform regular privacy assessments of operational processes, identifying, and mitigating risks across the company through effective tools, training and guidance.
- Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to key stakeholders
- Coordinate, train, and support local privacy coordinators as needed.
- Working knowledge and familiarity with global privacy laws and regulations; strong affinity to understand complex information systems and information security.
- At least 5 years' experience in the field of Privacy / Data Protection preferably in a major law firm or corporate law department. Legal education or a degree is a plus.
- Deep understanding of global privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, PIPL, LGPD) and regulatory frameworks.
- Fluent oral and written communication skills in English are required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Demonstrated:
- Ability to manage large, complex, international programs; to effectively communicate standards of conduct, legal principles and behavioral expectations, as well as trainings; and to advise senior management on complex compliance related issues.
- Ability to conduct effective privacy programs and procedures.
- Ability to conduct privacy due diligence processes.
- Ability to translate strategic goals and objectives into actionable programs and projects and complete successfully.
- Familiarity with privacy management tools (e.g., OneTrust) and incident response protocols.
- Optional: Active Privacy related certifications (e.g. CIPP, CIPT).
- Base monthly salary starting from 3500 EUR gross. Our salary is fair and competitive and can be higher than the starting minimum in the advertisement
