We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Engineer to manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure with a focus on Azure-based solutions. This role will involve daily ticket handling for access management, developing Azure functions and tooling, and ensuring the seamless operation of cloud environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Azure, senior-level development skills, and a strong background in system administration and IT operations.Key Responsibilities :Cloud Administration & Management

Oversee the provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability and security.
Develop and maintain Azure functions and tools to enhance automation and streamline operational processes.
Monitor cloud resources using advanced tools to identify performance bottlenecks and implement cost-saving measures.

Access Management & Ticket Handling

Handle daily tickets related to access management, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and security standards.
Troubleshoot access-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions and maintain service quality.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define access control policies that align with business requirements.

Development & Tooling

Design, develop, and deploy custom tools and scripts using Azure Functions to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Implement robust solutions for monitoring, reporting, and alerting across cloud environments.
Work closely with development teams to integrate new tools into existing workflows while adhering to best practices.

System Administration & IT Operations

Perform system updates, patches, and configurations across cloud environments to ensure reliability and security.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and implement preventive measures.
Optimize system performance through proactive monitoring and advanced troubleshooting techniques.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

Partner with cross-functional teams including development, IT, and architecture teams to evaluate new services based on requirements.
Provide technical guidance on cloud best practices to internal teams while mentoring junior staff members.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for operational processes, technical solutions, and troubleshooting guides.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience in Azure cloud administration, including resource provisioning, security management, and automation tooling.
Senior-level development skills with proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for Azure Functions.
Strong expertise in system administration and IT operations with a focus on cloud environments.
Deep knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Active Directory (AAD), Kubernetes Clusters (AKS), Networking (VNet), Storage Accounts, etc.
Advanced problem-solving abilities with a focus on analytical troubleshooting of complex systems.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate are highly desirable.
Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications.
