- Set-up and maintain Geometry assurance systems and processes supporting the final demand objectives and fulfilling specified capability targets for Body shop and Final Assembly
- Assure robust Final demand measurement outcome of current/forward model with zero First Time Through influence or production stop time
- Ownership of the perceived quality final demands achievements towards the customers over the lifetime of the vehicle
- Judge and define additional measuring requirements for analysis in which equipment or way is best and give the suggestion base on the measurements
- Conduct in depth analysis of measurement results from factory, evaluation of modifications and adjustments resulting from Analysis in the plant.
- Interface at the working level within the Volvo Geometry Network with similar responsible Engineers at all related Volvo establishments.
- Initiate updating of geometric requirements document and CMM Programme changes where defined as required which included Target Values, Measuring and Capability Points, etc.
- Develop, lead, and perform continuous education & training of Geometry methods, principles, cross functional interactions and tools to the plants
- Create the Weekly geometry indicators management status reports to inform factory management of the geometry output, improvements within their specific areas.
- Deliver efficient and timely root cause analysis, containment, and permanent fixes of geometrical or quality robustness of Geometry systems or deliverables.
- In program support design review, geometry verifications activities, problem solving of Perceived Quality demands (Final Demands) between FDJ to Final Status Report (FSR)
- Feed the up-streams lessons learned and continuous improvement work towards Geometry methods and system solutions to secure Volvo Cars business objectives.
- Passionate about quality with a proactive, action-oriented approach to problem-solving, backed by a strong track record in structured and advanced problem resolution.
- Holds a bachelor's degree in engineering, having OEM experience within Geometry Engineering at a car manufacturing plant.
- Experienced in working with and interpreting Geometrical Measurement Systems.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of drawing meaningful conclusions from large datasets and establishing cause-and-effect relationships.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Slovak.
- Skilled in Catia, Teamcenter, CM4D, and Minitab.
- Excels in documentation, organization, and maintaining structured workflows.
- Adept at building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Certified in Six Sigma at the Yellow, Blue, or Black Belt level.
- The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
