Utilize strong manufacturing engineering mindset and previous experience in the automotive industry to secure and coordinate the Battery Geometry Assurance for an assigned vehicle/project within Geometry Network during all stages

of a project and in full production following Volvo Standards/Procedures; * Provide experience from System Solution (DRMs), Supplier Capabilities and Measuring of current Products;

Judge and define additional measuring requirements for analysis in which equipment or way is most appropriate;
Evaluate modifications and adjustments resulting from analysis in the plant;
Create the proper geometry indicators management/status to inform Plant management;
Develop and design your equipment and process area (Battery and/ or Electrical engine production) according to Volvo standards;
Improve the techniques & methods used by the team following the project through product development & feedback to achieve flawless launch according to project KPI requirement for Battery or Electrical engine;
Take part in RFQ=Request For Quotation of equipment - cost estimations, development of process concepts, supplier relations, continuous alignment with customers, installing and commissioning.

What you'll bring

Previous manufacturing engineering as well as geometry experience working on equipment projects (project lead/installation/commissioning) with Body in White products from Supplier to Audit, is mandatory;
Ability to analyze product and process outcome to balance and propose correct recommendation (Time, Technique, Cost);
Previous working experience with sourcing process (internal & external relations in sourcing), and Project management experience;
Preferred engineering education: Mechanical/Mechatronic, Manufacturing, Automation, Electrical, or equivalent;
Problem-solving DMAIC knowledge;
FMEA experience;
Good understanding of Teamcenter, CATIA V5, Auto CAD;
Conversational in English, written and spoken, and proficient in Slovak language;
Ability and willingness to travel within and outside Europe, although based in Kosice District, Slovakia;
Not only an individual contributor attitude but also an ability to work within a multinational team;
Self-starter and troubleshooting attitude, high level of communication skills, curiosity to learn new technologies;
Analytic and engineering data reporting skills.

CompensationBase Monthly Salary (Gross) for this position starts from 2.000 EUR.

The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
