We are looking for a forward thinking and experienced Policy/Government Affairs Manager who will be able to drive and coordinate policy advocacy activities, as well as policy projects at SAPIE (Slovak Alliance for Innovation Economy).
We search for somebody who is able to lead his own projects and is a digital and innovation enthusiast. We know you’re somewhere out there!Government/ Public relations:
  • Regular communication with relevant public officials (National & EU level)
  • Relationship building with public officials in respective policy/advocacy areas
  • Practical cooperation on preparation of strategic policies (e.g. active commenting, co-drafting, stakeholder engagement, etc.)
  • Relationship building with key private/non-profit institutions (business associations, academia, relevant NGOs, etc.)
  • Active communication with external stakeholders
  • Communication of relevant advocacy activities
  • Leading working groups on digital economy and innovation
Cooperation with members:
  • Membership engagement in advocacy activities within SAPIE
  • Cooperation with the best Slovak digital companies and big tech leaders
  • Project management within respective projects on digitalisation and innovation
  • Drafting joint policy papers/position papers & policy briefs
  • Occasional membership recruitment
Project management:
  • Overall responsibility over thematic projects in respective advocacy areas
  • Exploring opportunities for partnership- and initiatives-development
  • Develop and administer project proposals, strategies and action plans
  • Advocacy related content creation, planning & delivery of activities/events (in cooperation with other team members)

Requirements for the employee
Candidates with education suit the position
  • University education (Bachelor’s degree)
  • University education (Master’s degree)
Educational Specialization: economics/international relations/political science
