- Take ownership of developing and implementing communication strategies that support Habitat’s regional and global objectives, working closely with regional leadership.
- Coordinate content gathering and storytelling in Europe, Middle East and North Africa countries, supporting our programs, fundraising and advocacy.
- Reinforce Habitat's brand and communications standards among content-gatherers, setting clear guiderails around the development of stories, images, videos and other assets.
- Review and edit key content and tools such as stories, photos, videos, press releases and communication strategies.
- Help coordinate media interviews and other external communications opportunities related to Habitat's work in the region, including preparation of key spokespeople.
- Support communication activities around Habitat-sponsored events and forums in which Habitat participates.
- Lead regional website management and social media engagement.

- Minimum bachelor's degree in communications or other field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in communications, public relations or related field
- Fluency in English
- Proven ability to write and curate strong content while meeting brand and messaging needs
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders from across the globe
- Experience with managing social media
