Financial GL Accountant

• General ledger postings and preparation of supporting documentation in IFRS (especially IFRS 15 & IFRS 16)
• Asset reconciliation and coordination with local teams for inventory counts
• Payroll accounting and close collaboration with local HR to analyse fluctuations
• Intercompany recharge calculations and cooperation with the FP&A team
• Monthly accruals and month-end closing activities
• Reconciliation of assigned GL accounts (balance sheet and P&L)
• Support for statutory year-end closing
• Ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and special projects for senior management
• Issue resolution and accounting query handling
• Business partnering to support decision-making
• SOX control preparation and review
• Contribution to automation and standardisation initiatives

• Accounting activities – 80%

• Strong understanding of IFRS accounting
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of GL SOX controls

• Degree in Finance or Economics (ACCA is a plus)
• 4–5 years of experience in finance, ideally in a Shared Services environment
• Experience in a multinational company
• Fluent in English
• Strong Excel and accounting systems skills
