TEAM ASSISTANTViennaThe overall objective of the Africa-EU Migration and Mobility Dialogue Support Programme (MMD III) is to support the orderly, safe, regular and responsible migration and mobility of people within Africa, and between Africa and Europe. MMD III is part of the Joint Africa-EU Strategy.Under its first component, the supports the ICMPD-facilitated migration dialogues Rabat Process, Khartoum Process, the AU-EU Continent-to-Continent Migration and Mobility Dialogue and follows up on the Joint Valletta Action Plan (JVAP).Under its second component, the project supports via competitive grants selected initiatives of local authorities, civil society organisations (CSOs) and diaspora organisations aiming at facilitating their links with the JVAP framework and the dialogues as well as increasing their contribution in the field of migration and mobility as related to continental, regional and /or multi-country levels.In addition to proficiency in verbal/written English, the Team Assistant needs to be proficient in verbal/written French. Experience in event management and working in the African context is an asset.The Team Assistant will work under the supervision of Senior Project Manager and as part of the MMD Event Team that supports all MMD components with logistical tasks and event management.
