Junior Consultant in Financial Accounting Advisory ServicesSalary: 1 600 - 1 700 upon agreementStart date: by agreementType of contract: Full - timePlace of work: Bratislava, SlovakiaAt EY, we're all in to shape your future with confidence.We'll help you succeed in a globally connected powerhouse of diverse teams and take your career wherever you want it to go.Join EY and help to build a better working world.The opportunityOur Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team is comprised of professionals who have experience in the practical implementation of accounting standards, including the planning and realization of complex projects, such as the transition from national accounting standards to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). We cooperate closely with chief financial officers, audit committee members, treasurers, and other financial managers, helping them correctly interpret planned changes to accounting standards and other regulations, and assess how these changes will affect their companies.We provide companies with support in navigating the maze of IFRS, governance and regulatory requirements, and in confronting the new world phenomenon of Big Data. We also provide advisory services related to the automation of financial processes.We are looking for a new colleague with audit and advisory experience who is eager to further specialize in financial accounting advisory. This role involves designing solutions for even the most complex client requirements and working on a diverse range of projects in this area.Your key responsibilities

Participate in consultancy projects related to IFRS implementation

Participate in projects aimed at consolidating financial statements for international and local groups of companies

Be involved in projects related to the setup or enhancement of existing processes

Process and prepare data for data analysis projects

Skills and attributes for success

University degree with an economic or technical focus

Knowledge of accounting

Experience in audit, accounting and financial advisory is a plus

Independence in seeking information and looking for solutions to problems

Logical and analytical thinking

Willingness to learn

Strong communication skills

Fluent in English; knowledge of other foreign languages is a plus

PC literacy (MS Office, mainly MS Excel)

Skills and attributes for success
