- Minimum four to five years of experience supporting executives, preferably in a mid-sized non-profit organisation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms. Experience with database management a plus
- English language C1 level, excellent written German and French would also be a strong advantage

- University degree in relevant subjects (e.g. energy and environmental sciences, EU studies, public policy),
- Policy Analyst should have at least three years of relevant work experience (other than internships), including in organising events and in policy analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to research, write and present high quality policy analysis,
- Strong interest in European affairs and commitment to European integration,
- A good understanding of EU policy developments related to clean energy and industrial decarbonisation. Understanding the of green corporate governance and sustainable finance agendas, and ability to recognise linkages across policy areas (e.g. linking energy, agri-food and nature agendas) would be considered an asset
- Excellent communication and social skills (oral and written),
- Basic Project management skills,
- Ability to engage and network with experts and interested stakeholders,
- Ability to work independently as well as in a multi-disciplinary team,
- Dynamic, flexible, reliable and attentive to detail,
- Fluent in English
- Developing and implementing the EPC's Green Deal related activities, including topics such as clean energy transition and industrial decarbonisation,
- Providing research and organisational support for the Sustainable Prosperity for Europe Programme,
- Research and writing policy analyses,
- Organising events (drafting event proposals, invitations and programmes, identifying and contacting speakers),
- Liaising with external experts and interested stakeholders, as well as building and maintaining a network,
- Supporting fundraising activities for the Programme,
- Producing new ideas and taking initiative on projects and activities.
