We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and help shape the way we build, test, and deploy our products. This is a key role where you'll work closely with our system architect to define and maintain robust infrastructure and CI/CD processes. We're seeking someone with strong hands-on experience, particularly in Linux environments, who is also comfortable providing technical leadership and improving existing workflows.   • Take ownership of build and deployment pipelines across our JavaScript monorepo
  • Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines with a focus on monorepo-specific best practices (e.g., selective builds, caching, versioning, etc.)
  • Define and automate build, test, and deployment processes for local development, staging, and production environments
  • Prepare deployment machines and infrastructure, including system configuration, package installation, and environment setup
  • Work with IoT devices running Linux-based systems (e.g., Raspberry Pi or similar), managing provisioning, updates, and remote access
  • Collaborate closely with the system architect and development team to ensure DevOps best practices are embedded into our workflow
  • Take initiative and make technically sound decisions backed by experience and reasoning
  • Help define and implement test automation frameworks and integrate them into the CI/CD process
Personality assumptions and skills
  • Strong Linux expertise, both on servers and embedded/IoT platforms
  • Solid experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally with monorepos
  • Proven track record of setting up automated deployments and infrastructure configuration
  • Experience working with JavaScript-based codebases (you won't need to write JS regularly, but understanding the ecosystem is important)
  • Ability to communicate clearly, propose solutions, and argument decisions
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for improving systems, automating processes, and mentoring others
  • Team player
Nice to have:
  • Experience with IoT deployments, provisioning, or remote device management
  • Experience with tools like Nx, Turborepo, Lerna, or other monorepo managers
  • Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix) or logging infrastructure
  • Experience deploying to Windows machines and Android devices, including handling installation, updates, and system configuration
  • Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions and remote administration practices
