The Corporate Solutions Global Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team supports managing and steering the financial performance of the business unit Corporate Solutions and its regional and product management teams. We are further developing and strengthening financial steering capabilities to build robust business plans, supporting business growth and act as a strategic partner to the business.About the RoleThe Risk Engineering Services (RES) Finance Manager position is a newly created internal role which will act as a Finance business partner supporting the RES department. RES is a key differentiating proposition of the Corporate Solutions business unit. This role is perfect for a teammate eager to work in an international environment and interact with other Finance colleagues while providing dedicated support to RES senior leadership. The role will report directly to the Head Cost Management of Corporate Solutions.We are looking for a Financial Manager who will help shape and formalise the overall mandate of this new role. A key element of the role will be to meet the increasing business demand for accurate and timely financial insights and advice, as the basis for business decisions that effectively increase profitability.This role has significant exposure to senior leaders within Corporate Solutions and the greater Finance community.Your key responsibilities will include to:

Act as dedicated finance expert in collaboration with other Finance teams for the RES Core Management Team covering all cost and revenue related topics for RES acting as a strategic business partner focusing on;
Maintaining real time detailed vacancy management overview of Global RES staff
Establishing end to end RES service fee oversight and reporting capabilities
Owning external vendor service purchase process
Collecting service beneficiary FTE based allocations to benefiting UW portfolio/profit center
Responsible for financial modelling and evaluation of RES business cases and RES' contribution into other CorSo business cases
Lead the RES team through all financial planning tasks based on
Current staffing and growth business cases
Planned efficiency projects
Enhance and advise business decision making by creating insightful and tangible analytics across the value chain

You have a university degree with a primary or masters' degree, preferably in finance, economics or business administration
You have at least 7 years or more of relevant working experience in consulting and/or financial industry
FP&A, controlling, business intelligence or data mining experience is an advantage
Market place business experience an advantage

Excellent analytical skills and ability to deliver quality output to short deadlines and handle details without losing sight of the bigger picture
Solid experience in steering and financial planning & analysis, as well as in financial modelling in complex environments
Able to combine data and judgment to support decision making at the right level of detail
Pro-active, forward-looking attitude in identifying financial issues regarding budget, in-house Risk Engineering and vendor services
Deep understanding of direct commercial insurance products is considered as a plus
Strong communication skills, particularly the ability to summarize complex technical issues to non-expert audiences, both written and verbal
Capable of building trust with all areas of the business
Comfortable challenging the status quo and/or senior management
Strong data mining skills and analytical creativity
Ability to translate business initiatives into clear, actionable strategies
Personal accountability and task ownership

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 3 200 and EUR 5 300 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers: the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role, the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
