We are looking for Master Data Management (MDM) Consultant to join our MDM practice and solve our clients' MDM projects and implementations.EPAM is investing significantly in Master Data Management consulting practice. The goal is to enable clients to achieve better business outcomes by governing and managing Master Data initiatives more efficiently and implementing modern and innovative technology solutions. In this position, you will solve complex and unique problems for your client leveraging your expertise in working with modern data stack and ensuring data reliability, security and quality with an agile mindset.ResponsibilitiesEngage deeply with senior executives to define and execute Enterprise-wide Master Data Management programs and business-cases, often becoming the “trusted advisor”Lead Master Data Management assessments to help clients gradually improve capabilities from current state to the viable state of maturity by creating strategy, roadmaps and implementation plansLeverage your deep understanding of business and IT capabilities to build a Master Data Management technology solution which help to innovate and create value across the client organizationProvide end-to-end services from strategy ideation and provide and extend knowledge of MDM solutionsLead customer conversations and architectural teams to define modern Data Management architecture and developing practices to manage data through its lifecycleSupport business development efforts, including proposal development, Statements of Work, and client presentationsCreate consulting offerings and reusable templatesDeliver client projects in one or more solution areas: Product Information Management Customer and Supplier Master Data Management and Digital Asset ManagementBe involved in clients' project initiatives such MDM Application implementation strategy and planning, Requirements gathering, and technical work with other Data Solutions team membersDocument and execute implementation MDM application strategy technical configurationRequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in information technology or related disciplineMinimum 3 years in a Consulting role leading Master Data Management initiativesDeep practical subject matter expertise in at least 2-3 Master Data areas: Product, Customer or Vendor MDMTechnology expertise with one or several MDM technologies, e.g. Informatica, Stibo, SAP, Ataccama, Semarchy, Tibco, Riversand, Profisee, ReltioUnderstanding of data governance frameworks (DAMA, DCAM), methodologies, processes and how to implement themExperienced in building relationships with directors and C-levels stakeholders by developing a deep understanding of the customer business and driving data-driven insightsPractical expertise in conducting maturity assessment and gap analysis and providing strategic roadmap and solution implementation guidelinesHands-on experience in running customer workshops and other collaboration sessions to discover customer priorities, understand current state, and determine maturity/readiness to execute on enterprise Data Management & Governance visionExpertise on industry & market trends with tools scoring model for selecting fit for purpose technology solution and tailoring and applying industry best practices at scaleExtensive practical expertise with modern data stack, agile environments and high-end technologiesAbility to work independently, manage small engagements with multiple work threads, or parts of large engagementsExcellent verbal and written command of the English language, to drive client side discussions and draft concise documentation when requiredNice to haveExperience in leading data transformation projectsTechnology expertise in modern Big Data & Cloud stack: Spark, Snowflake, Databricks, etcPractical expertise in implementation of Data Governance for modern cloud data lakesWe offer/Benefits
