Start date: by agreementAbout the role:The role is focused on management and control of the production, technical and quality flow of value stream, administrative, economic, organizational, technical and supporting functions related to the production value stream with the aim of ensuring optimal use of available resources to maintain performance and production output in accordance with company financial goals and quality and safety standards. The job holder is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives in production as well as 5S. The job holder must ensure compliance of processes including products and data in production according to quality and regulatory standards of Convatec.Responsible for constant development of the work force through training and job enlargement for production workers, and through focus on security and health issues ensure improvement of the production environment.Further to ensure constant awareness by production staff to relevant regulatory requirements.Your key duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for the production staff and thereby the presence of adequately qualified and motivated personnel in the department
- Responsible for a proper level of information enabling the staff to make relevant decisions about their work
- Suggest development of the organization
- Cooperate with HR department and Focus factory lead / Operations Director when negotiating local agreements
- Carry out regular staff development interviews
- Participate in developing company and the individual job functions
- Make sure that production employees are familiar with company financial goals and politics
- Responsible for production performance and quality level in value stream and on all its shifts.
- Responsible for planning and management of the production through staff members and following up on their activities, hereby making sure that:
- approved procedures and instructions are adequate, understood and followed and kept up to date
- that production areas and premises are up to agreed hygienic standards and that hygienic standards are followed by production staff as well as guests
- approved Value streams budgets followed
- that BOMs and routings are calculated and followed
- that validation procedures are followed
- that production staff is familiar with the department’s operational goals and KPIs
- ensure full cooperation of technical and quality teams within value stream and in line with Focus factory strategy
- product quality procedures are followed and all non conformities investigated and addressed
- To keep supply chain team informed about any production deviations or delays, to enable timely delivery to the customers
- To communicate relevant deviations and changes in relation to capacity plans to enable supply chain team to make necessary changes or re-planning of orders
- That the production equipment is validated
- That production processes, premises and staff fulfil relevant requirements according to QMS
- 5 - 7 years of relevant experience with either same or similar subject of business.
- Good knowledge of production flow, technology, and manufacturing processes.
- Computer literacy as user, relevant production, logistics system knowledge.
- Experience in international work environment (preferred).
- Secondary education, technical, industrial engineering, economical or production processes.
- University degree, technical, industrial engineering, economical or production processes.
- The position may involve travel up to 15% of the time.
