Today, we are one of the world’s fastest growing insurance organizations, capable of writing in 128 countries on 6 continents.Role PurposeTo provide expert advice, guidance and support to Starr’s Multinational proposition. The MPC role covers all Produced business from the Starr Europe Offices and will require the individual to provide close to support to the UW in each of the Office from helping in the marketing and winning of the business through to the administration of each of the programmes. The role may involve some travel to the European offices to provide that support.Roles and Responsibilities

Territorial coverage – understanding how Global Partner Networks operate
Premium allocations are appropriate & tax calculations
Liaison with the Global Network to ensure local policy issuance
Managing service levels/standards to ensure policies are issued on time
Oversight of premium payment and reconciliation at the Producing Office level
Liaison with SIRL Bermuda/RI Ops North America to ensure RI Panel payments
Oversight of claims and claims reporting
Compliance: ensuring the adherence to local regulations, retentions, tariffs, reinsurance flows and tax calculations. Liaise closely with Legal on reinsurance licenses making sure these are in place with Network Partners around the world. Maintain a library of compliance specific details for each Country.
Communication: working with local offices in order to ensure local policy issuance, premium collection, remittance and claims notifications. Clear communication with Brokers at both the Producing Office level and local level to ensure consistency in instructions and problem resolution.
Project integration: Support the SGS project team and in the early development of the Starr proposition the MPC will be critical in providing expert guidance and direction on process design, IT enhancements and financial management.

Experience

Experience in Multinational business, or related area
Summary level financial management
Understanding of currency and exchange rates
Liaison with multiple countries around the world and strong cultural awareness
Reinsurance practices.
