- Establish and maintain the calibration hierarchy and traceability for all measuring equipment and standards.
- Design and validate measurement systems and procedures for new and existing products and processes.
- Analyze measurement data, perform statistical analysis, and determine measurement uncertainty.
- Investigate and resolve complex measurement issues, providing technical expertise and solutions.
- Lead and participate in measurement system analysis (MSA) studies and gauge repeatability and reproducibility (GR&R) analyses.
- Perform calibration and maintenance of various measuring instruments and equipment, including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), optical comparators, force testers, and electronic test equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure accurate and consistent measurements throughout the product lifecycle.
- Manage external calibration service providers and ensure their compliance with company requirements and standards.
- Develop and maintain all necessary documentation, including calibration procedures, work instructions, and reports.
- Cooperation and collaboration with all team members in cross-functional teams
- Follows all ConvaTec standard for values and behaviors

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Metrology, Precision Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Design Control in accordance with EU ISO 13485 & US 21CFR820 Quality Systems for Medical Devices preferred
- Experience as a Metrology Engineer or in a related metrology role within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Work in office environment, production centers and laboratory
- Office based position with home office possibilities based on the local home office policy - 8 days per month
- Flexible working hours accordance with the local policy
