Job description, responsibilities and duties
The European Alliance for Innovation (EAI), the largest European professional society in information sciences and engineering, is searching for a Publications Associate to support its publications activities. In partnership with Springer Nature, EAI publishes scientific journals, books, and international conference proceedings. EAI publications are included in leading indexes and in the European Union Digital Library (EUDL).EAI is seeking a professional who is looking for an opportunity to contribute to the management and further development of high quality research portfolio. Candidates with specific experience or knowledge of academic publishing will be given priority.Specific job responsibilities:
- Managing the life cycle of EAI journals, proceedings and book series, including promotion, development, indexing, impact factor;
- Coordination of content submitted from the scientific community;
- Content validation;
- Communication with EAI publications Partners as well as with journal editors, authors, and reviewers;
- Participate in the publications strategy and business development of new EAI publications.
