Summary In 2022, ESET has launched global Corporate Solutions Division, dedicated to support large companies and public institutions with bespoke cyber security solutions.
The Corporate Solution division is scaling up its cyber security advisory services team that is delivering services for our corporate clients. We are looking for an experienced consultant to enlarge the advisory team of cyber security consultants.Job descriptionIn this role, you will advise our clients in cyber security areas such as cyber security posture assessment, risk assessment, cyber security technology components architecture of related processed need in this area.Your will be directly working with the clients on consultancy project while adhering to required quality and achieving client satisfaction.You may also support other division teams where your cyber security expertise will be part of value-added services or will support implementation / enhancement SOC services delivered.Expect that you will work on versatile projects, across various industries and type of clients, reflecting expansion of Corporate Solution division and professional services team.Corporate Solutions Advisory Services are integral part of ESET effort to position itself as a trusted cyber security partner and vendor-of-choice, building on ESET unique technologies and over 30 years of experience.Senior Cyber Security Consultant´s responsibilities:Deliver cyber security consultancy projects to client (on-site / remotely) covering:
  • Advise on cybersecurity architecture components in client’s realms
  • Perform cyber security risk assessments tailored to client industry and specific business situation
  • Transforming assessment findings into actionable recommendations in areas of technology/ organization / process. Utilizing industry frameworks to conduct risk assessments but focus on real value and tangible results for a specific client situation
  • Executing gap analysis and providing recommendations on their gradual closure
  • Overall assessment of client cybersecurity posture across technology / organization and process domains
  • Recommendations on incident detection & response / SOC operations, processes and tools
  • Provide cyber resilience recommendations based on external attack surface assessments / vulnerability assessment outcomes and OSINT TI findings
Independently deliver cyber security consulting projects to end-customers - tangible recommendations how to close the identified gaps and improve client cyber security postureGood knowledge of cyber security directives (such as ISO27001, NIS2, etc) and frameworks and methodologies for risk assessments, such as NIST (NIST 2.0), MITER ATT&CK, and similarStructure the client business assignment (in cooperation with supervisors) and define scope of consulting services to be deliveredSupport other service teams (such as managed detection and response team, CTI Advisory services team)Have a broader client picture and participate on further client development activitiesContinue build-up and keep knowledge about relevant cyber security expertise and specific servicesPerform other work on projects and tasks as directed by direct supervisorOur requirements:
  • proven experience of technology consulting and delivering cyber security consultancy projects
  • Delivering projects for (internal) customers, experienced across industries
  • Very good knowledge of NIST framework, MITRE ATT&CK, and similar
  • Ability to work and drive the assignment independently
  • Result oriented with can-do attitude
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM or similar are of advantage
  • Formal education in IT security field is an advantage.
