European Alliance for Innovation: Marketing Specialist

• Plan, create and execute unique, high-impact digital marketing campaigns using an appropriate combination of channels such as email marketing, social media, PPC, etc;
• Drive optimal direct marketing communications effectiveness through testing, measurement, tracking, ROI analysis and reporting;
• Determine testing matrixes, optimization techniques, and developing best practice procedures;
• Support the growth of EAI conferences and publications, community development, building brand awareness and corporate relations;
• Manage social media and email marketing campaigns (includes scheduling, segmentation, creating and editing the written content, formatting and visual layout);
• Evaluate individual marketing communication efforts making sure they are in line with the overall marketing strategy, and report campaign results on a regular basis;
• Edit and upload content for EAI websites (includes proofreading, fact-checking, and layout/formatting maintenance using WordPress).

• Excellent writing skills in English (minimum C1-level is required);
• Understanding of marketing funnel dynamics and the ability to write effective copy for landing page
• Skilled and autonomous in WordPress;
• Experience using Google Analytics, Mailchimp or similar digital marketing/content management tools;
• Experience using mainstream social media marketing platforms professionally;
• Keen eye for detail, good analytical skills and creative thinking;
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills;
• Autonomous thinking and ability to work hands-on and with limited supervision.

• Experience with branding and communications design (Photoshop or other photo editing programs and basic video editing);
• Experience working with scientific societies, community engagement;
• Experience with event and publication marketing;
• Knowledge of professional platforms for researchers (Researchgate, Academia.edu).
