Then you might be the right person for our General Ledger Accounting Services team!About the TeamGeneral Ledger Accounting Services team is responsible for supporting European, Asian, and American entities of Swiss Re Group according to internal guidelines, IFRS and local accounting policies and tax requirements. As a member of the team, you support legal entity with operational and closing activities. You seek possibilities to further develop, streamline and improve the team's delivery processes and collaboration with our partners.Main customers: Group Finance, Tax teams, Internal & External Audit, Asset ManagementAbout the RoleThis role offers a rare opportunity to combine your love for numbers with project work and provides extraordinary chance to improve your communication and business interaction skills.Accounting tasks:In your role you will support/assist with the following tasks:

Account for and contribute to the production of monthly/quarterly/annual accounts for assigned entities and processes
Monthly and quarterly preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
Support of external & internal audit (data delivery, explanation of business cases

Project tasks:

Assisting and supporting on assigned projects
Supporting the discussions, managing stakeholder expectations as well as assisting with the projects in the most efficient and beneficial direction
Proactively engaged, including launching new ideas and providing suggestions to overcome difficulties

About YouWe are looking for an engaged and motivated teammate with good communication skills.Essentials:

University degree in the area of Finance, Accounting or Economics• Relevant experience as a Financial accountant or similar is a plus • Knowledge of basics in accounting
Fluent English written and spoken
Advanced level on Microsoft Office (Excel - Pivot Tables, Word and PowerPoint)
Great social and communication skills
Flexible working attitude, being able to easily adapt to changing environment and priorities

Nice to haves:

SAP experience is an advantage

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 1,400] and [EUR 2,400] per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,

the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
