- Play role of MINT Core team network architect
- Initiate, lead and coordinate discussions about network related improvements, governance, ways of working, MINT standards support
- Cover both high level architecture and detailed configuration topics in the scope of MINT
- Examples of current architecture topics:
- landing zone concept re-evaluation
- virtual micro-segmentation
- Juniper based wifi solution
- BOM review and update
- Examples of configuration topics:
- VLAN mandatory and optional definition
- Switches template configuration definition based on industry reco
- Cybersecurity related configuration evaluation
- Review and evaluate results of network assessments done in 2025, identify potential improvements
- Examples of ways of working and governance topics:
- SmartNet and warranty evidence supporting processes
- Cooperation with service providers on process and configuration standards
- Switch onboarding processes
- Lifecycle management
- MINT standards support
- Explain and support plants in interpretation and understanding of MINT standards
- Advice/give direction for plant specific questions/topic
- Provide external consultancy to different MINT related topics (HW, SW, wow, configuration, architecture)
- Attendance to periodical MINT technology calls or ad-hoc calls for specific topics.
- Share experience, pros, cons, real examples of use cases etc. for different MINT topics
- Occupancy:
- Topic dependent (periodical calls: 1-2 hrs/month)
- One master contact, other experts for different topics
- Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Network Architect, Network Engineer, or similar technical network role.
- Experience working with enterprise-scale network infrastructure, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment is an advantage.
- Technical Skills
- Proven knowledge of network architecture and design (both high-level and low-level/network configuration).
- Strong experience with LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi (preferably Juniper-based solutions), VLANs, micro-segmentation and network security.
- Experience with configuration and management of network switches, routers, firewalls.
- Understanding of network standards and frameworks (industry recommendations).
- Experience with network assessment, lifecycle management, and onboarding of network devices.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts as they apply to network configuration and governance.
- Methodology & Governance
- Demonstrated experience in defining and improving ways of working, processes, and governance related to networking.
- Consultancy & Communication
- Strong advisory, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and facilitate discussions with internal teams and external partners.
- Experience with supporting and guiding local sites/plants on standards interpretation and implementation.
- Other
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
