Bratislava Policy Institute (BPI) is an independent not-for-profit think tank dedicated to fostering liberal democracy, human rights, the Central European region, and European integration through analysis and debate, supporting and challenging relevant stakeholders at national and international levels to make informed decisions based on evidence and analysis._Are you skilled in the implementation of EU projects and project management? Then here is your chance to become a member of a multinational team that is growing.BPI offers high-quality, customized project implementation services turning innovative ideas into funded projects. This ranges from EU grants to private investment identification, including consortium building, application writing, selection of experts, negotiation, budgeting, quality control, and evaluation of projects.Currently, we are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Project Manager who would take over EU Projects during their implementation period, to become part of our dynamic team. Projects are mainly oriented toward educational activities, research on social issues, and organizing dissemination events.ResponsibilitiesYou will demonstrate and develop your ability to:
- Manage Project implementation, including coordination of current partnerships
- Follow and manage project timetables, identify implementation risks, working on solutions
- Prepare and submit Monitoring reports to responsible Managing Authorities
- Manage communication with third parties and stakeholders during project implementation
- Draft deliverables or supervise their quality
- Participate in the formulation of vivid partnerships.
- Academic background with a Bachelor’s or/and Master's degree, preferably in Social Sciences
- Excellent knowledge of English (both written and oral)
- At least 5 years of project management experience is preferred
- Responsibility, consistency, and adherence to strict deadlines
- Proven track records in drafting and implementation of EU-funded projects will be highly appreciated
- Availability to travel abroad as required
- Excellent command of MS Office (mainly Excel and Word)
- Administrative, organizational, and communication skills
- Knowledge of a second foreign language will be considered a strong asset
- Slovak and/or Czech language is an added value, Ukrainian is welcome
