European Democracy Youth Network: Program Officer

• Perform administrative tasks related to the EDYN HQ office, including scheduling, maintaining files, managing correspondence, and handling incoming emails from members, vendors and potential partners. This includes managing the calendar for the EDYN network's activities, ensuring timely and effective communication with partners and stakeholders, and managing the office environment to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
• Handle databases, recruitment processes, and EDYN election-related tasks. This includes managing EDYN’s membership database(s), coordinating with all stakeholders the administration of recruitment and election processes, and ensuring that EDYN’s internal processes are carried out effectively and efficiently.
• Manage logistics for events that EDYN HQ organizes or cooperates with other organizations on, including coordinating with vendors, managing guest lists, and overseeing event organization. This includes managing all logistical aspects of events, from identifying appropriate venues to arranging for catering and other event services, and ensuring that all events run smoothly and meet the expectations of EDYN and its partners.
• Administer and support all other tasks related to the functioning of EDYN including managing communication with members, and supporting ongoing projects and initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., political science, international relations, business administration) or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, preferably in a non-profit or international organization.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in English (both spoken and written); knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate with a diverse team of colleagues and partners.
