We are looking for a cool colleague who will fit into our team - this time in Košice to join our colleague Martin. We hope you will be a positive person who wants to make a difference in Slovakia.
We would like you to be flexible, able to multitask and a team player. This position will give you enough freedom to take care of your other hobbies, studies or even family as it is not a full-time position.
If you like working with people, practice speaking English and can juggle various activities, YOU are the person we would love to have in our AmCham crew!Your agenda will be:
  • Policy networking: communicate and liaise with the relevant governmental bodies, Slovak local politicians, non-governmental organizations, academia and schools, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Assisting with organization of AmCham policy-related events: proposing topics, outlines and points for discussion, liaising with the speakers, co-drafting background materials for AmCham representatives.
  • Coordinating the work of AmCham Committees and Task Forces: liaising with relevant member companies, preparation of agendas and minutes, preparation of background materials, proposing and inviting experts and speakers, follow-up actions. Coordination of AmCham Regional Projects.
  • Formulating and coordinating AmCham Policy Briefs and Position Papers.
  • Cooperation with Events team - reach out to sponsors and partners, draft communication of materials/brochures, assist with marketing of the events, venue selection, catering companies, communication with suppliers, arrangement of programme of particular events, communication with speakers, responsible for post-events tasks.
  • Preparing of detailed event agendas, budget projections, general reports and financial outcomes; preparing of monthly and yearly calendars.
  • Daily administrative tasks (emails, call, preparing membership folders,…), being a contact point for our visitors.
