- Prepare and/or contribute to various visibility materials in form of presentations, photos, articles, short films/videos, newsletters, social media posts/blogs or other such as required.
- Elaborate an user-friendly “Guide on Migration Policies in the Slovak Republic” (working title).
- Develop other information materials (e.g. leaflets, one pagers, flashes) for the target groups aimed at communicating particular migration related topics.
- Establish cooperation with local and regional institutions, relevant governmental, non-governmental entities as well as other international organisations and local NGOs on project activities;
- Participate in preparation of monitoring reports as appropriate.
- Prepare reports, briefings, minutes, background information, narratives and statistical analysis as necessary and required.
- Gather and archive data, information and supporting documentation necessary for the project implementation.
- Actively participate in the meetings of the project team, as well as attend official meetings and appointments if needed.
- Perform general office maintenance tasks including correspondence, market surveys; logistics, and procurement of technical equipment and office supplies.
- Participate in other project-related activities, as needed.
- Assist in evaluation and reviewing of the project progress, including financial monitoring of the relevant budget expenditures in order to ensure effective planning of project activities.
- Assist with translations, and/or acts as interpreter/translator (Slovak-English, English-Slovak).
- Perform other duties assigned by the HoO/Coordinator of the EMN activities.

- Completed Masters or Equivalent or Higher from an accredited academic institution in Humanities, Social Sciences, Media and Communication studies or in other related field;
- A minimum of two years of relevant working experience in developing, organizing and implementing different kinds of events aiming at communicating particular topic to a specific target group (topic of migration, intercultural communication or other similar is an advantage);
- Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills with a commitment to provide respectful, culturally and contently competent communication; and the skills to adapt communication suitable for different target groups;
- Very good knowledge of migration and asylum situation, law and policy in the Slovak Republic;
- Demonstrated experience in elaboration and/or compilation of publications and other information materials aiming at provision information in succinct and user friendly manner;
- Experience in communicating via other marketing/communications channels such as social media posts/blogs; short videos etc.;
- Exceptional communication, organizational and writing skills;
- Experience in working with communities, governments, civil society and the private sector;
- Language skills: Excellent command of Slovak (native) and English language;
- Computer skills - user:
-Microsoft Word - advanced
-Microsoft PowerPoint - advanced * Familiarity/experience with design software/technologies, video and animation tools - an advantage;
- Ability to drive (driving licence B) and travel;
- Strong planning skills and strong in keeping deadlines;
- Ability to work independently and also in a team;
- Flexible, reliable team player with proven networking, negotiation, and partnership building skills;
- Demonstrated gender awareness and gender sensitivity;
