Policy Design, Programme Management, and Representation:
- Serves as a policy entrepreneur who identifies opportunities for meaningful policy change and works towards insuring impact of the programme initiatives;
- Develops the programme of work and policy agenda on economic growth, leads key GLOBSEC initiatives in the relevant policy areas;
- Provides quality assurance of the programme's economy and finance domain, including every written output, consultation and development of agenda relevant to the topics of economy;
- Develops and maintains relations and partnerships with relevant external stakeholders and partners - other think tanks, institutions, government representatives, thought leaders;
- Writes and edits publications and media outputs in the programme area;
- Delivers briefings in the field of expertise to relevant stakeholders (government representatives, business stakeholders, expert communities, and other);
- Convenes private and public roundtables to communicate the relevant research agenda and findings;
- Advises on the development of economy and finance related streams and topics at GLOBSEC Strategic Forums.
- Designs and develops funding proposals and partnerships with key institutional and corporate partners on issues related to economy and finance;
- Develops relations with private and public donors.
- Oversees and mentors programme staff (managers and fellows);
- Manages and guides associate fellows.
- A candidate is required to have at least 3 years of experience in think-tank, public sector, or relevant business enterprises in the field of economy and finance;
- Active participation and networking in the area of economic expertise (on personal and institutional level);
- Track record in writing and editing expert publications on topics related to economy and finance (including global recession, inflation, monetary and fiscal policy etc.).
- While GLOBSEC's main office is located in Bratislava, remote work is possible with visits to Bratislava when needed.
