The Authority is launching a vacancy notice with a view to establishing a reserve list of Temporary Agents for positions of Labour Mobility Officer.1. Profile
Reporting to the Head of Sector and under the overall supervision of the Head of Unit, the Labour Mobility Officers will contribute towards ELA's mandate and to the development of the operational tasks of the Authority, mainly:
- information and services;
- EURES;
- cooperation and information exchange with Member States and other stakeholders;
- mediation
- capacity building;
- analyses and risk assessment;
- tackling undeclared work;
- concerted and joint inspections;
- Contributing towards ELA's mandate in various operational labour mobility related areas within the scope of the ELA Regulation;
- Providing specialised labour mobility knowledge and expertise to ELA's operational and strategic activities;
- Supporting the management in the efficient workflows/procedures for the internal functioning of the Authority;
- Contributing to the drafting and implementation of the ELA single programming document, annual work programme and the annual activity report;
- Contributing to internal task forces on ELA’s thematic actions and campaigns, and to adhoc horizontal activities between Units;
- Providing the necessary input to briefings, papers and documents;
- Managing relations and fostering strong and open cooperation with national authorities, EU institutions and other relevant stakeholders;
- Ensuring sound financial and contract management for the budgetary allocation in relation to their activities;
- Participating in the preparation, organisation and management of meetings and representing ELA in meetings with external stakeholders;
- Performing any other related task requested by the line management in the interest of the service.
- be a national of a Member State of the European Union;
- enjoy their full rights as citizens1 ;
- have fulfilled any obligations imposed by national laws concerning military service;
- meet the appropriate personal and professional requirements for the duties involved;
- be physically fit to perform their duties2 ;
- have a thorough knowledge of one official language of the European Union and a satisfactory knowledge (level B2) of another language of the Union ;
- Candidates must have, at the closing date for applications,
- a level of education which corresponds to a completed university degree of at least 3 years attested by a diploma and in addition at least 3 years professional experience.
