Forvia is a leading technology manufacturer of automotive components, with a focus on sustainability and customer satisfaction. As a Process Tool Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Collaborate with the product design team to gather input data and define the tooling requirements.
- Manage the process definition and documentation of the tools in the PDM system.
- Ensure the tool acceptance and validation according to the specifications and standards.
- Propose and implement product and process improvements to optimize the tool performance and geometry.
- Communicate and coordinate with the tool supplier on the technical aspects of the tool design and delivery.
- Make the tools available for the plants and monitor the product and process quality.
- Apply the Group standards under the FES, as well as other internal and industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive sector
- Knowledge and experience in Project Management process
- Knowledge of Production System Efficiency basics
- Results oriented with strong written and oral communications skills
- International mind set
- English required
- Excellent communication skills in worldwide context (Japan/China/India/Europe/North America)
- Hands on experience in following topics
- Source code management: git, Gerrit, GitLab, bitbucket
- Continuous Integration: Jenkins, GitLab
- Static Analysis
- Open Source & CVE (Cybersecurity) scanning tools
- Atlassian JIRA & Confluence
- Python scripting
- C/C++/Java programming
- Knowledge/experience with Automotive electronics products
- Exposure with automotive development life cycle : ASPICE
- Agile methodology for engineering team
