Our opportunityInternal Controls Testing PartnerThe purpose of the role is to provide independent and objective assessment of the design and operating effectiveness of control environment, in accordance with Zurich ICIF Policy, and focus on the company's Key Controls.The team provides this service in over 40 reporting units across the globe: EMEA, APAC, LatAm. The incumbent in the position will actively participate in the improvement of internal controls of the company by ensuring compliance with the Zurich Policies and Guidelines.Your roleThe Internal Controls Testing Partner would have the following responsibilities, them being extended or reduced according to ZICTT requirements:

Ownership of BU relationship, including:

Maintaining and managing relationships with BU's.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration with BU's.
Keep scope updated.
Ownership of reporting activities.
Active participation in the testing activities both testing and reviewing internal controls.
Collaboration on the appraisal of FTE.
Allocation of tasks within the team.
Demand and resource availability communication.
Training of new joiners.
Team mentoring and motivation.
Participating in Continuous Improvement projects or streamlines aligned with team goals.

Your Skills and ExperienceAs the Internal Controls Testing Partner your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Accounting / Finance/ Economics/ IT Computer science or related field.
+2 years of experience managing teams of 5 or more people.
String interpersonal skills including the ability to provide constructive feedback in a manner that results in improved performance.
Flexibility and demonstrated ability to adapt well in a changing environment.
5+ years of postgraduate experience in internal controls or in audit.
Significant knowledge of Finance & Accounting and/or IT processes and controls or Audit is a pre-requisite.
Previous experience with global/regional audit or internal controls engagements will be viewed as a strong asset.
English C1.
German C1.
Portuguese, Spanish or Italian nice to have.
Experience in SOX (internal controls) or having worked in a SOX environment will be an advantage.
A recognized qualification e.g. CIA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA CISSP, CRISC, CISA or CISM as additional plus.
Audit - Analytical Mindset.
Knowledge of Organization and Control Environments, Audit Risk Assessment, Internal & External Audit Standards.
Relationship management skills.
Customer Orientation.
Be pro-active and take the initiative to deal with challenges.
Solution oriented.
Availability to travel is between 5%-10%
aligned with team goals.

We offerIn accordance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, the minimum gross monthly compensation for this position, determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, is 3700 EUR/gross. The final compensation package will depend on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.Working time benefits
