- Determining shifts in the external environment - a global framework for the development of the European and (open) Slovak economy;
- Structural changes in the national economy and regions of the Slovak Republic;
- Ageing - human capital, labour market and social development;
- Macrofinancial imbalances.
- conducting research independently within her/his research focus;
- organising and leading research projects and teams within her/his research area;
- active contribution to the self-governing life of the Institute (teaching or supervising Ph.D. students, active participation in the self-governing bodies and the academic discussion).
- knowledge of the English language;
- at least a basic overview of econometric research methods;
- operational command of at least one statistical software used in economic research (R, Matlab, Stata or Eviews);
- experience with regression modelling or input-output model is an advantage.
- flexible working hours with the possibility of combining with remote work (partially remote, some attendance required);
- participation in expert work for the private and public sector;
- working in a stimulating intellectual environment.
- fixed salary according to the current criteria for remuneration of scientists in Slovakia, taking into account qualifications and years of experience (indicative basic salary from EUR 1 200 to 2 200 EUR per month gross);
- a variable salary component depending on the quality and intensity of publication activity and involvement in project activities.
