Job description, responsibilities and duties
Nadacia Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is currently seeking to recruit a talented professional for the role of a Human Resources & Learning and Development (HRLOD) Assistant. In this role, you will manage the whole recruitment process and provide operational support to the HR, Learning and Organizational Development (HRLOD) department to support the Area Offices of 2 regions – Europe and the Middle East (EME) and Africa (AFR). This role will provide you an incredible learning experience by exposing you to non-profit work, international culture, relevant projects and experts in the field.Please note that this position is for a fixed period of one year.WHAT WOULD BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?
Recruitment
  • Advertising, identifying resourcing options and strategies
  • Actively searching for candidates
  • Shortlisting of applications
  • Candidates pre-screening
  • Coordination of interviews & assessments
  • Participation in interviews
  • Active collaboration with the hiring managers and candidates
  • Coordinate the whole process to ensure smooth due processes in the selection and onboarding phase
  • Monitor HR best practices for efficiencies or other innovation in EME and Africa Office and National Organisations recruitments
Other HR-related tasks:
  • Assist in the planning and logistical preparation of HRLOD events & activities, as required.
  • Other administrative tasks such as coordination of health check-ups, monthly management of attendance records, etc. according to the needs of department

  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • 1-2 years of recruiting experience
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Excellent communicator
  • Computer Literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), Powerpoint and the Internet.
  • Ability to assertively tackle issues and handle these from start to finish
  • Proactive approach and ability to work independently
  • Strong service and client orientation and professionalism in writing and speaking
  • Ability to prioritize and good orientation on detail
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to communicate effectively with people
  • Fluent in Slovak and English
