PROJECT COORDINATOR „CITIZENS & LIBRARIES AGAINST DISINFORMATION (CLAD)”at the Goethe-Institut Bratislava & onlineScope of employment: 40 h per weekThe Goethe-Institut is looking for a committed colleague to lead the “CLAD” project from 17|06|2024. Due to the duration of the project, the position is limited until 30|06|2026.The Goethe-Institut e.V. is the globally active cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany. We promote knowledge of the German language abroad and maintain international cultural cooperation.CLAD is a two-year project funded by special funds (EU funds) in which libraries and cultural centers in Slovakia, Portugal and across Europe are supported in building their skills in order to integrate events against disinformation into their daily work. Together with international experts, librarians, employees of community centers and citizens, a transferable training offer is developed and applied.As a “CLAD” project coordinator, your area of responsibility essentially includes:
  • Project management with responsibility for goal achievement and budget
  • Coordination and support of the project
  • Communication with project partners across Europe
  • Organization of project meetings and events (online & physical)
  • Supporting the Goethe Institutes involved in implementing their planned activities
  • Coordination of administrative tasks, especially reporting and project completion in compliance with the donors‘ specifications, including communication with the EU
Requirements:
  • University degree e.g. in cultural management or comparable knowledge and skills
  • Experience in project management and very good organizational skills
  • Experience in managing large projects, experience with EU projects desirable
  • Experience working with cultural actors, libraries, translators and creative service providers
  • Good computer skills (MS Office, content management system)
  • High communicative competence, high service orientation
  • Flexibility, ability to work in a team, resilience, and organizational talent
  • Very good knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written
  • Knowledge of the German language desirable
  • Willingness to travel on business
  • Location Bratislava with the possibility of working mobile
