In 2024, Continental generated preliminary sales of €39.7 billion and currently employs around 190,000 people in 55 countries and markets.Job DescriptionFor Internal candidates onlyWe are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Development Engineer to join our Platform Development PLT team in Puchov.In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our platform infrastructure, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Develop segment/platform specification for a defined size range based on product and segment strategy requirements.
  • Validate target constructions, scale up solutions, implement newly developed platform product.
  • Ensure the basic performance of existing products and correct release of new ones.
  • Design test concepts, conduct tire testing, evaluate performance data.
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing plants globally.
  • Close cooperation with other R&D departments worldwide.
  • Taking part or leading International projects across carious Continental departments.
Qualifications
  • University degree in technical field (e.g., Chemical or Mechanical Engineering).
  • English language on communication level.
  • Advantage is having skills in:
  • Skills in MS Excel VBA programming.
  • Basic knowledge of data science.
  • Basic In field of Data science
