Join us and help shape the future of connectivity together.Job DescriptionJoin our global IT infrastructure team and take responsibility for the administration, optimization, and security of our database and Microsoft server landscape. In this role, you will manage SQL Server environments (on-premises and Azure), ensure system performance and availability, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure. Your expertise will help safeguard data integrity, enable efficient operations, and support development teams in delivering business-critical applications.What will be your responsibilities?

Ensuring stable and secure IT infrastructure services in line with global requirements and guidelines
Managing, installing, and configuring SQL Server instances (on-premises and Azure SQL)
Ensuring high availability and disaster recovery through clustering, Always On, backup, and restore strategies
Analyzing and optimizing queries, indexes, and database structures for peak performance
Implementing and monitoring security policies, user roles, and encryption to protect sensitive data
Automating administrative tasks using PowerShell, SQL Server Agent, and other tools
Proactive monitoring and troubleshooting using Azure Monitor, SQL Profiler, or Query Store
Planning and executing database migrations and upgrades, including transitions to Azure SQL
Creating dashboards and reports with SSRS and Power BI to support data-driven decisions
Collaborating with software developers to ensure optimal database integration and usage
Supporting Microsoft Server infrastructure: testing new releases, planning upgrades, and defining group policies

QualificationsWhat do we expect from you?

Education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (2016 or later, ideally Azure SQL) with knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery concepts
Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure SQL Database, Managed Instances); knowledge of Oracle or MySQL is an advantage
Proficiency in T-SQL and PowerShell scripting; basic knowledge of C# or Python is a plus
Practical experience with database security, encryption models, and compliance standards
Hands-on experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and resource management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues efficiently
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely with developers and infrastructure teams
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Server Operating Systems, including hardening and Group Policy management
Understanding of licensing models for databases and Microsoft servers
Fluency in English (minimum B2 level); additional languages are a plus
